Losing Icons on Desktops 2-x, Windows 8 Pro

Hi- since the upgrade to 1.6.5.2207, I am losing many icons on all Desktops past the initial one.
Using Windows 8 Pro, and the DeskCube though I doubt that is the reason. All settings seem ok (show all icons, etc.) and have made no other changes or tweaks to individual desktops. Was working fine before upgrade and seems ok in Windows 7 (I have a dual boot system). It is also possible it started after the recent Windows8 patch updating but not sure really when.

Anyone else having the problem? Thanks-want to solve it as Dexpot noramlly great.

Problem solved - was related to Fences 1.1-once disabled, behaviour now as expected. Not an issue with Windows 7 so there is some interaction in Win 8 w Dexpot but the uninstall of Fences sorted it.
