Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
I have two displays. Whether I set an single image spanning both or separate images, I only get about 15% of the top of the image painted on the secondary display. If I swap the monitors as primary / secondary, then the problem moves to the new secondary screen. The rest of the display is black (not the background color -- black).
Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display

Are you talking about the multi-monitor wallpaper feature of Dexpot 1.6 Beta?

Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
I am also having this issue. The second monitor's background works fine when it is set to "windows default" in Configure Desktops > Background, but when it is set to "Use a different image on each monitor", the second monitor's wallpaper is largely blocked by a black box. This is an issue when the second monitor's background is an image as well as just a solid color with no image.

Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
Also in addition to my last post, I am using version 1.6.6 build 2227
Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
Could you please try this version? Exit Dexpot and save the attached file to your Dexpot installation folder, replacing the original dexpot.exe. Then change the wallpaper for the second monitor again in "Configure Desktops".

Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
I'm having a similar issue, and the new .exe did not fix it.
If I have my wallpaper set like:
Dexpot interprets it as:
I have monitor 2 set as the primary monitor. Any help would be awesome!

How about this one?

Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
The problem still exists. Is there a way to change the background in window catalog without changing your actual desktop background?
Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
No. Did you set new wallpapers with this version? Just replacing the exe file isn't enough.
If it still doesn't work, please explain what the problem is exactly. Are you using Windows 8? The pictures above, are those screenshots?

Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
I did attempt to reset the wallpaper. I'm using Windows 8. Dexpot 1.6.6, Build 2227. The first is a screen shot of DisplayFusion, which I originally used to set the wallpaper. The second is a screen shot of the background tab in Configure Desktops in Dexpot. The alignment is Tile, however none of the other alignments work either. As far as I can tell, Dexpot is behaving as if my right monitor is on the left, I'm assuming because it is the primary monitor.
I hope some of this helps!

Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
Are you sure you're running the test version posted above? In the "About" screen it has to say "Build 2227-chenm".

Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
Ah, yes. It does say that in my version number.
Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
Oh, I think we've been talking about two different things the whole time. This is about an existing multi-monitor wallpaper being shown incorrectly in the background of the Full-screen preview?

Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
Yes! It displays incorrectly in fullscreen preview as well as windows catalog. Sorry for any confusion I might have caused.
Re: Desktop Background not painting on secondary display
Ok, try this one. Set alignment to "tile".
