Duplication of icons on desktops coming out of standby mode.

Apologies for posting this here in the Deutche language forum, but I want this to be seen by the people who really matter!

Dexpot has this tendancy to SOMETIMES duplicate all my icons on one desktop when the system comes out of standby or hibernation mode.

Sys goes into standby, and when it comes out, almost ALL ICONS from ALL desktops are COPIED (ie, duplicated) onto the current desktop. I have all the icons that I used to have on desktop#3, but also most if not all the icons from every other desktop also! they are COPIED/DUPLICATED there - that is, the icon that used to appear on desktop#1 is still on desktop#1, but now it is ALSO on desktop#3 - so I have duplicate icons on #3.

Every time this happens, I have to go into desktop config and delete the duplicate icons.

When I examine the system, it appears that upon a desktop switch, nothing at all happens on either the disk or in the registry. That means that DexPot is managing all icon positioning in memory only, and only writes it's config to the profile when the system shuts down.

But, after this desktop icon duplication, even loading my profile again from disk does not correct the duplication problem - the corruption seems to get written to the profile file.

As a "stability enhancement", I might recommend that the profile file in "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Dexpot\profile" be saved every time there is a desktop switch instead of only saving on System shutdown. It may cause a slight pause, but I'm willing to live with it rather than face the task of having to reorganize all my icons on all my desktops every time this happens.

Since the profile file seems to get corrupted also when coming out of standby, I suspect that it is possible that DexPot sees the call to go into standby mode, and begins saving it's profile data, but doesn't finish writing the profile before the system actually powers off. Perhaps the windows API call to enter standby mode doesn't wait for applications to finish their file i/o before it shuts down??

And I LOVE this product. It is the best desktop manager out there by far!
