A workspace/virtual desktop for each monitor

Well,I need this because:
--> i have rainmeter but i need the normal windows desktop ( a place to put my desktop icons).
--> It would be good to have multiple workspaces
--> i have 2 monitors.

It would be great if there was a plugin which would allow the users to choose which monitor the virtual desktop will be displayed on. A little something like this:

I have no idea how dexpot works, whether it stores workspace information in arrays or if it a more complicated process. either way i cannot create this module by myself. I was hopping some one would be willing to take on this project with me

PS. are dexpot modules made with Qt? if not, what is used instead

I'm not completely sure what you're proposing. Do you want a separate, independent desktop on each monitor, like running virtual machines? That's not possible.

Or do you want the ability to switch desktops on one monitor, while the other remains on another desktop? "Settings > Switching Desktops > Monitors" lets you exclude monitors from desktop switching. A more complicated version of this, where both monitors can switch but be on different desktops at the same time, is possible but complicated and unlikely to be added.

Is this not the same thing? how exactly do i do this?

No, it's not the same. The first case isn't even virtual desktops any more. In the second case, each monitor can switch individually,, but it's still just one big desktop overall.

well i look forward for this feature in newer versions of this software. so now i use different software.
