Incompatibility with Skype - is there any workaround?

I notice that when I open application windows by double-clicking their icon in the system tray, typically a copy of the application window is opened on the current destop. This should probably be expected.

However, with Skype this does not work well.

Initially it appears to work the same way it works with any other application: if the user double-clicks the Skype tray icon, a Skype window pops up on the current desktop. If the user switches to another desktop and double-clicks the Skype tray icon there, another Skype window pops up on that other desktop (a copy of the original one).

So far so good.

However, if at that point user attempts to close one of the Skype windows (by clicking the [x]), the window closes and then immediately reopens again. After that the window is no longer closeable and no longer minimizable. It generally "works" and it can be resized, maximized and restored. But it is no longer possible to minimize or close it. The only solution is to quit and restart Skype.

Is there any solution for this problem on the horizon?

Save the attached file to your Dexpot installation folder and restart Dexpot.
