Moving/Copying Icons between desktop problem

I have been using Dexpot for a while and like it. Recently I had a glitch and have had to configure it again. I seem to have lost the ability to copy or move icons between desktops using Desktop Manager as described in the quick start guide sections 10.1 and 10.2. I expect I need to change a setting or configuration. Can you tell me what to do?

I have tried some more things with no luck: I rebooted my computer; I verified that no Icon can be moved in any desktop to any other desktop using Desktop Manager; I verified none of the Icons I tried were in C:\users\public\desktop. When I drag an Icon to a desktop manager desktop, it turns into a black circle with a line through it.

Are you running Dexpot as administrator? Dragging icons to the Desktop Manager only works with normal user permissions.

Thank you for your help, Patrick. I found I had "Run as Administrator" checked in settings. It seems to work properly now.
