desktop icons are all universal?

all of my icons on my desktop1 are copied to all of the others, and any changes i make on one show up on my other 3. any help?

You have to enable "Customize desktop icons". If you already did that, the icons visible on all desktops are the ones stored in C:\Users\Public\Desktop.

alright, thanks. it was checked but wasn't working until i unchecked and rechecked
