worse performance with a better computer?

Hi. I've used dexpot with my core i7, nVidia graphics, 8GB RAM Dell laptop, but I gave it up because the animations weren't smooth enough. I thought this was one resource-hungry program. And then I tried it on another computer, which has a core i5, a poorer GPU and the same amount of RAM: it went flawlessly. What's going on?

if you're referring to Full-screen preview and Window catalog: DexControl mainly relies on your GPU and the specifications you've mentioned seem to be more than enough to run it without any problems.

Maybe a driver issue? Super high CPU load? I don't know.
