I didn't find a post like this in the forum--forgive me if this has already been asked, and let me know where I can read about it.
Running Win 7, Home Premium, SP1, and Dexpot 1.6.3, build 2167 with DexControl and SevenDex. Running 4 desktops, on an Asus latop with a 2.70GHz Intel i7 and 8Gb of memory.
Every so often (certainly at least once in every 4 hours or so of operation), Windows Explorer stops working, and restarts. After the restart, all desktop icons are gone from every desktop except the one I happened to be in when Windows Explorer restarts.
How can I fix this, so that (a) Windows Explorer doesn't experience restarts; or at least (b) I can get icons back on all the desktops after a Windows Explorer restart?
thanks in advance,

Is there any pattern to the crashes? Do they occur in certain situations or randomly? Any error messages or other technical details?

Save the attached file to your Dexpot installation folder and restart Dexpot. This will also be fixed in the next version.

I didn't notice any patterns, but I will try to be more vigilant. Typical sessions for me involve several explorer windows, gnu emacs, MikTeX, R (usually idling), several chrome windows, firefox...

Thanks! I installed, restarted, then manually stopped and restarted explorer.exe, and it seems to have worked.
