Dexpot doesn't delete anything from the public desktop. Can you please describe your problem in a bit more detail?

well i put some icons in my public desktop folder(i got 4 virtual desktop). but when i restarted my pc. i notice all the icons i put in the public desktop folder is gone from all desktops. and the public desktop is empty.

but i tried it again later but it seems to be fine now. i just want to know why it happen and to make sure it will not happen again.

it just delected my public icons again.

Dexpot version?
Where is the public desktop folder located on disk exactly?
Does Dexpot run as administrator?
Is Dexpot set to start automatically at login?
Do the icons get deleted when you restart Dexpot, not the PC?

window 7, with the latest version of dexpot-162-r2143.
public desktop folder is a hidden folder in localdisk(C)/user/public/
i dont think i set dexpot as admin
dexpot is not auto on i think.
the icon get delected after restart pc not dexpot i think.

another poblem is when i use dexpot. the program keep on accessing harddrive periodically(once 1 or 2 second). so it makes a annoying noise like pc get unraring a file every second or so
