Working with Stardock Fences

Hi,

I'm using Dexpot and Stardock Fences. I understand there may be some incompatibilities between the two - which is fine - but I'm just trying to figure out how they work together.

Dexpot shows the same fences on each virtual desktop that I had on the main desktop. And that's fine too. But if I save something to the desktop on desktop2 - it only shows up on desktop2. And I can't find it using Windows Explorer c:/users/name/desktop if I'm on a desktop other than the one I saved it in!

So I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me what folder these additional desktops are saved into. There are some files I want to make sure are saved into the main desktop. If I can just find the folders, I don't mind copying them.

Also, does anyone know if it's possible for Desktop to show the same Fence icons for all desktops?

That's actually the default behavior. If the option "Settings > Switching Desktops > Customize desktop icons" is disabled, you should have the same icons on all desktops and Fences should work as usual.

Only with icon customization enabled do you get a separate folder for each desktop. The folder for desktop 2 you're looking for is "C:\Users\%username%\Desktop 2".
