Greetings!
While copying my Dexpot profiles folder as a backup (I'm trying to create a macro to do this too), I noticed that I have over three hundred image files, well over 75% being the same images. I have three profiles, using 10 to twenty images, so I have well over two hundred seventy redundant images. Is there any way I can cut down all these excess images and direct Dexpot to just use one of each unique image? I might also have some early "dead" profiles stuck in there from my early days testing Dexpot which don't list because of past crashes, and I'll like to cull these out too if possible, especially if it'd also cut down on redundant images.
Thanks!
James Greenidge
Can I prune down the # of image files in Profile folder?
Re: Can I prune down the # of image files in Profile folder?

Assuming you're not using the new multi-monitor wallpaper feature in 1.6, Dexpot only creates those files when you choose a wallpaper with an image format not supported by Windows (anything that's not BMP for Windows XP).
You could keep one of every image, delete all the duplicates and then set the *.bmp files as your desktop wallpapers in "Configure Desktops".
