Getting Dexpot, the application, off of the Taskbar

I like that Dexpot keeps and icon in the system tray and that it can put the desktops on the taskbar, but I can't figure out how to get the application itself off the taskbar. I don't need it taking up space on my taskbar (even with the multiple desktops ) Is there an option in the configuration that I just can't see?

I'm looking for something like Winamp where you can have the application in the taskbar, system tray or both.

Either right-click the taskbar button and select "Close window" or deactivate the SevenDex plugin in the "Plugins and Extras" section of the Dexpot settings. Is that what you mean?

you may also disable the systray icon via 'Settings/Appearance/Tray icon/No icon'.

The Right-click -> Close window worked. Hadn't tried it assuming it would close the application. thanks for the quick response.

how do you prevent the icon from loading to the taskbar upon startup though?
