Hello I am an old user of dexpot 1,4 under win XT and recently I migrated to win 7 64 bits, starting to use dexpot 1.5.
My question is this: How to avoid some applications, for example Outlook 2010, automatically open in all desktop on windows 7 64 bits. This did not happen with Dexpot 1.4 on Windows XP using Outlook 2003.
I try to create rules to move this application from desktops 2, 3 and 4 to desktop 1 but it doesn’t work.
Cheers
Applications that open automatically in all desktops
Re: Applications that open automatically in all desktops
Thank you dear, run Dexpot as administrator solved the problem. However this solution disable the response of taskbar pager to mouse right button click. Any suggestion about that?

What's your Dexpot version?
Re: Applications that open automatically in all desktops
Hello.
I have the same problem with windows XP. some application opens on all desktops. Some applications do it randomly even some time after it starts.
I think the reason is the task pager, but I don't want to stop using it (it's very good). What can cause this? What can I do?

Which applications exactly?

What makes you think that?
Re: Applications that open automatically in all desktops
All sorts of applications and windows inside applications.Which applications exactly?
Fiewfox, winamp, Flash studio, Subversion windows, total commander.... and more and more, unrelated to each other.
Some are .NET some are just regular windows.
I was from two versions ago, and I didn't report it because I was hoping that you will discover it and fix it.
After some more testing, I figured it's not related. What makes you think that?
I've disabled all plugins, and the addition to the windows title bar menu, and it still happen. However, maybe it's related - after disabling the window, it happened much less.
The only thing I can think of now is that I have a different windows "skin". But I don't know how it is related.
Thank you!
