IE8 problems with Dexpot

Hi,

I have been trying out dexpot & so far it's been pretty good.

I ran into a problem this morning with internet explorer 8. I try to type anything in the search box in the top right corner (google is my default search engine) and it blocks typing in there.

If i try to type an address directly into the address bar, after about 1.5seconds it captures the cursor and then without displaying the flashing black line, moves the cursor to the beginning. what you end up with is www. and then it jumps giving you hotmail.comwww

I also found trying to enter the tools menu while in IE a problem, the menu flashes for a split second and dissapears. you cannot read / see / interact with any of the options.

I have run a virus & spyware check as this is typical behaviour of a virus although it states there were none found. I rebooted, same problems.

I exited from dexpot and re-opened IE, everything ran fine immediately.

any idea why this is happening? or what i can do to fix it? i quite liked dexpot & would like to continue using it.

Legit Win 7 64bit, all latest updates. IE8 all latest updates.
