MS Office 2007 windows resizing when switching desktop

Hi,
If I have an Office 2007 window open and maximized, then switch to a different Dexpot desktop, then switch back, the Office window resizes itself to leave a gap at the top of the screen. The gap seems to be the height of the window title bar.

Just to mention I recently upgraded to version 1.4.2.768 but the problem is still there.

I am also having this issue with version 1.5.0.1042. I am using Windowx XP and Office 2007.

I tried to replicate this but couldn't
Dexpot v 1.5.0.1042, Windows 7 Ultimate x64, MS Office 2007.

Opened Excel in 2nd desktop, maximized, switched back to 1st desktop, then back to 2nd. Excel stayed Maximized.

I've the same problem, but it occurs randomly.

In the excel_not_quite_max file the title bar is not "merged" with the filename.

I'm having a similar problem with 1.5.0.1042 where I have multiple Word 2007 (XP os) opened but I can't move anything to a different desktop. Perhaps something in Office 2007 and this build aren't meshing.

Resizing exists.



The window is still feels itself as maximized. It cannot be moved or resized but can be restored/maximized by window buttons. After restoring and maximizing it maximizes correctly. Upper gap is from previous window of Firefox. Every time appears a new button in taskbar with Microsoft Excel title which activates last worked excel workbook and disappears.



This bug is not regular and appears once-and forever after many of desktop switches and when more then one of excel worksheets are opened and are not active when swithicng desktop. After once appears are observed every time desktop switching. And even can be observed when Excel window is not maximized. Upper gap is a part of previous desktop and is detected by mouse cursor as window border.



I think it associated with not-standard view of Excel window title.
System XP, "classic" view of windows, Office 2007 SP2. On Word, PowerPoint and other Office applications not observed, only with Excel.

Sebastian I'm not sysadmin, i'm user. So I can post or send any info you need. I don't know what exactly you want to see - dumps, logs, anything else.
Please tell, what files (or logs, or smthng) you need and how to obtain them if they are not files - and you'll receive them.

Exactly the same problem. Not *that* much irritant, because it doesn't happen too much often, but I too have observed that behavior.
