problems with desktop refresh?

I am using dexpot for a few days now; and I really like it. One thing that is a bit annoying:

You know, there are this little "tip" windows that pop up when you move your mouse above some item in some application. They show up; they disappear. But what I see with dexpot is ... sometimes they leave "their shape" on the screen.

Right now I see two rectangles with gray border on my desktop - although the corresponding windows are long gone.

Funny thing is: when I close dexpot ... the "shades" are gone ... I restart dexpot ... and the shades show up at the same position on the same virtual desktop again.

No kind of screen refresh/redraw seems to work.

Any idea?
