Clicking in preview crashes dexpot and asks to reboot

I'm on 2101-rc.
If I just click on the desktop preview window, in a desktop that has existing windows, it immediately draws cross-hashes on the entire window, then a few seconds later the preview window goes away, along with the rest of dexpot, and a window comes up asking me if I want to restart Windows.
If I instead click on a desktop in the preview that doesn't have an existing window, it just goes to that desktop. I currently have 3 desktops (out of 9) that don't have windows, and I'm able to navigate to all of them. As soon as I click on one that has a window in it, boom.
I can still use keyboard shortcuts to move around, but the desktop preview currently very effectively kills dexpot.
