Something I noticed on my laptop, which has a DPI (text size and such) configuration of 125% in Windows, is that Dexpot doesn't take in account the DPI setting when rendering the Full-screen preview, leading to the top-left window taking the most space and the other 3 windows partially rendered out of viewscreen.....
Selection and such still work properly, it is merely a visual bug that wasn't present in the beta before DexControl

Can you try this version please?


Exit Dexpot and save the attached file to your Dexpot plugin folder, usually C:\Program Files\Dexpot\plugins.

I found another annoying issue though: Every time I use Full-screen Preview, it disables the auto-hide behavior of my taskbar (both with and without the fix)... Quite annoying for me

Sorry, that one doesn't quite work, still having the taskbar forgetting auto-hide (now only when switching to another desktop), it doesn't include the DPI-issue fix either

Although the taskbar is visible for a moment when I switch to another desktop via DexControl, it then autohides directly again.

Are you sure you weren't running the original version? I just double-checked, the second version I posted definitely has the DPI fix.

I'm pretty sure I downloaded the second version you posted, redownloaded it nonetheless to my laptop (with 125% DPI setting) and it was still the same issue (both auto-hide and DPI)... Redownloaded it on my desktop, which included the auto-hide fix... Copied that one to the laptop, it included both the DPI and auto-hide fix...

DexFromHell - Downloads simplified.

It could be that your browser is confused and is not actually downloading the updated version. Try clearing its cache. That sometimes will fix this type of problem, where it thinks it has already downloaded a file and provides the old copy instead of checking for a new copy.
