Desktop name is invalid

After installing Dexpot 1.6, when I try to click on the desktop 2 or 4, it gives me the message: Desktop name is invalid.
By the way I tried 3 versions of this software and no one worked on my laptop. The previous ones keep moving the icons from where I put them. I am using windows 7.

Is that the actual message or did you paraphrase?

Check if there is a file called "Desktop 2" in C:\Users\%username%. If so, delete it and try to switch to desktop 2 again.
