Arrange icons - what happened to this in beta version 1.6

Hello,

I am evaluating Dexpot and Windows 7 64 bit with dual monitors.
I find this product very good except the arrange icons feature which was not working correctly in version 1.5. My icons were frequently landing inbetween the monitors. Normally, I keep many of them along the left edge of the right monitor. After switching desktops they were frequently landing inbetween the monitors, which was unacceptable. In order to prevent that behavior I had to keep them far from the monitor edge, which was kind of - in the middle of screen, which was not acceptable either.

Now, in the beta version 1.6 I can not find that option anymore. What happened to it?
I think this is a very vital option and should not be that difficult to implement, after all, I think... My two monitors have 1920x1080 resolution.

Thank you for your help,
ZB21

Got to Switching Desktops > Desktop elements > Desktop icons in the Dexpot Settings and click the Advanced button. If you're using the new separate folder mode, the option is no longer needed. You can simply enable the Windows desktop's own alignment features. If you're still using the old shared folder mode, then the option is right there in the "Advanced" dialog.

Thank you for your help, I have not initially noticed the option you mentioned.
Now alignment works!
Also, after re-booting my computer and - I don't know exactly since when - but now the alignment of the icons seems to be working fine. That means: no more icons in-between monitors that I complaned about earlier. Overall - excellent job!

PS: For now I am using the 'old style' folder, after making an image of my system partition I will try the 'new' mode. Thank you again.
