I'm probably blind. I've looked in the FAQs, read the Quick Start guide, and searched the forum for the answer to this issue. If it's there and I've missed it, forgive me--and please point me in the right direction.
I'm running on XP. It appears that if Dexpot is installed on the computer, it is only available to user accounts with administrator privileges. Is this right? Non-admin user accounts don't even see the program in XP's Start>All Programs menu. This is my experience.
If this is a "feature", what is the reason for it? Is there a way to make Dexpot available to non-admin users--to members of the "Power Users" group, for example?
If my experience isn't the norm, any idea what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks in advance to all who can open my eyes in this matter!
Dexpot for non-admin user accounts?
Re: Dexpot for non-admin user accounts?
Once installed, all users can use Dexpot with their own personal settings. Start menu entries, however, are only created for the account used to run the setup. If you want entries for all users, move the Dexpot folder from your Start menu to "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs".
