Dynamically add/remove workspaces

Hello,
I usually keep 4 workspaces but sometimes I need a new one for some
temporary work. It is possible to have a combination of keys (for example
Alt-Insert and Alt-Delete, as in Xfce4) for dynamically adding and removing
workspaces without opening configuration window?
