The task switcher has a fairly small width which unfortunately truncates window titles that are too long. It's pretty common to have explorer windows (or many other programs) titled by a file path, in which case you want as much of that path visible as possible. There doesn't seem to be any downside to making the task switcher wider, either by default or as an option.
