Wouldn't it be great if dexpot notification area icon looks more like those in windows 7 notification area icons? Just plain white with transparency background like the icons for action center, battery, volume, etc.

I find it useful for dexpot icon to always show in the notification area so that I can easily check where virtual desktop am I in. However, right now, it looks pretty much out of place in vista. Perhaps an option to specify the background color of the notification icon?

Are you volunteering to design a set of new 7 themed icons? :P

Hmm. Not really :)
Developer - not a graphic designer.
I supposed we only need to make the icon background transparent instead of the blue gradient thing?
If thats what's needed and I can access the source, I can probably volunteer to implement it :)

I'm not a graphics designer either, but I'd like to see new icons, or the ability to browse your computer and select your own icons. I do agree that on Windows 7 the current icons would look great without the blue gradient background and just transparent.

Nope? :)

We have implemented the ability to customize Dexpot's tray icons in one of the latest beta builds of Dexpot 1.5.
