[bug] "Switch with mouse wheel" over Desktop Manager not working (possibly: someone please verify this)
Posted: 17.04.2016 23:18:30
System:
[[NOTE]]:
all settings discussed in this post are found under:
Problem:
I tick [on] "Options" >> "Switch with mouse wheel"
Scrolling (directly) over Desktop Manager triggers once,
then after the one switch, the feature becomes unresponsive.
Action:
I place my mouse above a Desktop Icon on the Desktop Manager.
I scroll my mouse wheel (one tick).
Desktop changes in the desired direction.
I repeat the action.
No change.
The action only works the first time, and after that
any amount of mouse wheel scrolling
(with mouse directly above Desktop Manager)
results in no effect.
Attempted troubleshooting:
I tried switching
"Background" >> "Transparent" [on].
to
"Background" >> "Default" [on].
Same result.
(Different setting:)
I increased the "Transparency" >> slider all the way to "Visible"
Same result.
I tried turning off:
"Additional Button" >> [off] "Show Additional Button"
Same result.
Why I think it may be a bug and not
just my individual PC environment:
If I turn off
"Options >> Switch with mouse wheel" [off]
hit "Apply"
then turn back on
"Options >> Switch with mouse wheel" [on]
hit "Apply"
Then I can switch Desktop by scrolling over Desktop Manager
exactly once.
Then the feature entirely stops working as described above.
EDIT::
Actually modifying any setting under Desktop Manager
seems to reset the feature.
If "Switch with mouse wheel" is on,
and then any setting on the page is changed
and then "Apply" is clicked
then the mouse wheel Desktop Manager feature
can switch exactly one time before
becoming entirely unresponsive.

Other visitors, please verify that this happens on your machine
and is not a problem isolated to mine.
