Basically just what the title says. I can use mouse 4 & 5 to switch desktops while on any of my first four, but once I change to desktop 5, I can't. Any ideas what's causing this behavior?

does the desktop or taskbar have focus on your fifth desktop?

Long story short, I've figured out that this is being caused by having desktop 5 set to hide desktop icons (this is the first desktop I've used that option on). When I deselect that option, everything works fine. Is this a bug or working as intended?

try hovering the taskbar on your fifth (the one with desktop icons hidden) when switching with mouse buttons 4/5.

Hovering over the taskbar while hiding desktop icons does let me use mouse 4/5 to cycle. Any chance you can extend that to the rest of the desktop?

I've added that to our todo list. We'll see what we can do about it.
