Is there any way of speeding up the changing between desktops
by not redrawing/minimizing/restoring every window before swithing
desktop?

Otherwise it´s very good.

Are you referring to windows of a particular application? Like... Internet Explorer?

No, it seams to briefly show every window active on that desktop.
Like backward and forth so that the last one you see is the one that
has focus, stays on top.
