When using DexControl's full-screen preview or window catalog, I have the option selected for middle mouse to close windows. This appears to work correctly for some programs, like notepad, Sublime Text, and Chrome. However for other applications like Microsoft Word, middle mouse click only hides the window leaving the program running in the background.
I'm using Dexpot 1.6.13 Build 2429. I attached a log file that I generated with the following actions:
1) Turn on logging.
2) Middle click on Microsoft Word from Window Catalog to close it (Window was hidden but Word was left running).
3) Middle click on Notepad from Window Catalog to close it (it quit the application).
Looking at the log I can see there's a difference between steps 2 and 3, but I can't understand what it's saying about each case.
Can anyone shed some light on what is happening here?

Re: Middle click hides applications instead of quitting
If a window is visible on multiple desktops, middle click only hides it from the selected desktop. You can use 'Ctrl + Middle mouse button' to force closing on all desktops.

Thanks for a quick reply!
My first thought was "but it's not visible on multiple desktops"... however trying what you said got me thinking and testing some things. It turns out what I was experiencing appears to be related to my Switching Desktops -> Monitors setting, and not related to the individual programs like I originally thought.
I had monitor 1 set up not to be affected by switching desktops. When I put any program window on monitor 1, middle click closes it but leaves it running. When I put that same program window on monitor 2, middle click fully exits it. Allowing both my monitors to be affected by desktop switching makes the middle click close work on either monitor with all programs tested.
Is this a bug?

Yes, that looks like a bug. Should be fixed in the next version. Thanks for the thorough investigation.
