When i change desktops the opened app remains

When i change the desktop from 1 to 4 some of the opened windows from desktop 1 remains open and i can see them on all screens. For example i open an image with Windows Picture Viewer and if i change my desktop to let's say desktop 8 i that image remains i mean i can still see it open... I unchecked the option with keep taskbar buttons visible, but the thing is this one isn't only in taskbar its opened on each desktop every time i switch until i close it... Can anyone tell me how to fix this so that it won't appear anymore?
