Hello,
I've been a big fan of Dexpot for a few years now, and recently made the switch to Windows 8.1.
I have a laptop that I use as the primary display and I plug my TV in as a secondary display. Since I installed Dexpot to my new Windows 8 machine, the displays in Dexpot show up in reverse order.
No matter how I configure the displays in Windows, Dexpot shows that the smaller laptop screen is the secondary display and my TV as the primary. Additionally the it has their positions swapped, so that when I attempt to use two images or span an image across both monitors, it creates an image that does not show up properly.
Any advice on how to get Dexpot to see the correct display configuration would be greatly appreciated.
Multiple displays show up in wrong order
Re: Multiple displays show up in wrong order

Dexpot uses monitor positions as reported directly by Windows. Not sure why anything would be swapped. Here's what it looks like for me:

Re: Multiple displays show up in wrong order
Thank you for the reply.
Somehow Dexpot is now identifying the monitor numbers correctly again, but it still has the screens in the wrong order.
Here is a screen cap to show what I mean:

I took this shot on my secondary display. Dexpot seems to think the secondary display is smaller and crops the image incorrectly as can be seen in the background.

Re: Multiple displays show up in wrong order
Thanks for the screenshot. The wrong screen size is very likely due to a different DPI setting for the external display. Dexpot will support per-monitor DPI scaling in the next version, so that problem should be fixed then. As far as I can tell, the wallpaper should also show up correctly then (you have to re-apply the wallpaper settings in Configure Desktops though). The screen order actually looks right to me.
