Microsoft Mouse

Postby spartanbeing1 » 09.12.2013 22:42:18

Hi,

I recently just got dexpot, and seem to be having trouble making it work with my wireless mouse. I tried to activate the switching feature for horizontal scrolling, however it doesn't seem to work. Vertical scrolling works fine, but I don't like it that way. As well if I try and make one of the side buttons on my mouse (other than the right and left click) the control center in Dexpot doesn't recognize them as being hit. I am using a Microsoft wireless mouse 4000. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

THANKS!

:dex:

Try the back/forward side buttons also used for web browser navigation. Simply move the mouse over the taskbar and press one of the buttons. No plugins or hotkeys needed.

Oh wow that works thanks! Would you happen to know if there's anyway to make the horizontal scrolling work?

It might work if you remove any special Microsoft mouse software like IntelliPoint and just use the basic Windows mouse driver. Of course that's only an option if you don't need it for other extended features of the mouse...
