Problems with switching windows using windows catalog

When bringing up the windows catalog for all desktops,
more often than not, trying to switch to an open window on a different desktop than the one i am at now, will result in strange behaviour (switching back and forth from current window to requested window, then back again) which ends up right back at the original window i started from.
i've got dexpot updated to the latest version (1.6.10 2373), running on "real time" process priority,
and on the "plugins and extras page", ive got the "When activating a window on another desktop" option set to "Switch to respective desktop".
any help would be greatly appreciated.

:dex:

Please enable the Dexpot log file, reproduce the problem and then send me the log.

I don't see the Window Catalog being used at all in the log.

There are some switches caused by the assignment of Firefox to desktop 1, which appears to have the option "Switch to desktop when activated" set. Go to "Assign applications", change it to "Never" and check if the problem still occurs.

will do,
ill update on my findings.
also, im experiencing a slight delay when bringing up the multi screen window catalog,
ive already got animation speed set to 300ms, and im experiencing this is even when bringing it up with a keyboard combo (as opposed to hot corners)
is there anything that can be done about that?
