Thumb buttons on mouse toggle desktop with mouse switch off

I use the thumb buttons on my mouse as back and forward quite often on my browser. With Dexpot on, however, those two buttons keeps cycling to the next and previous virtual desktops (which is quite annoying as it's also my push-to-talk key on TeamSpeak and similar programs). I've unbound all key combinations, made sure mouse cycling is turned off, checked to make sure no plugins were doing it, but I can't find any way to disable this. Is there a way to stop this?

quit Dexpot, go to 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dexpot'. Set "SeitentastenWechsel" to 0.

That worked. Why isn't it an option in the settings menu?
