Dragging icons onto Desktop Manager not working

I have just installed Dexpot 1.6.9 Build 2285 and have noticed a problem where it is not allowing me to use the desktop manager to move icons onto other screens.
Basically when I drag an icon onto one of the destop manager screens the little rectangle appears but it leaves my icon unmoved.
I was wondering if this might be a bug or have I got a setting set that prevents this?

Maybe the icon you're trying to move is stored on the public desktop "C:\Users\Public\Desktop"? That's not supported.

Thank you for your speedy reply. I have restarted my computer and it is working fine now.
I had previously tried an earlier version of dexpot a year ago. I had uninstalled that one but the desktops were still there. Maybe that could have been a factor too.

Thanks again. I am so glad it is working. It is a wonderful utility and makes it so much better for organising desktop icons into logical categories.
