Hiya Hiya,

I updated to the recent release [dexpot_167_r2249] and ran into a problem. Dexpot crashed and deleted just about everything from all my desktops. How do I go about recovering all that I lost? I do have a back up from Sunday evening if need be.

it crashed and deleted everything? Icons? How did it crash? Any error message?

You probably have 'Settings > Switching Desktops > Customize desktop icons' enabled.
Switch back to your original desktop, then disable the option.
