Hi, new user here.
Physical resolution: external monitor (1680x1050) + laptop monitor (1366x768) extended side-by-side.
I see I can change the size for single desktop, but only to max 1680x1050 (reduce only). Is it possible to have a desktop with a virtual size bigger than the physical resolution? Suppose 2500x1600 (scroll when mouse hit borders of the physical boundary)?
What I'm trying to achieve is to have (sometimes) a browser window higher than the screen resolution without having to extend the desktop on the two monitors one-above-the-other instead of side-by-side, or turning the monitors on the side.
Thanks

Thank you Sebastian.
I think I'll use Dexpot anyway, great program for keeping different tasks related software segregated.
I now there is a Windows limit somewhere (W7 doesn't permit me to make a Windows bigger than resolution, even if not maximized). Anyway if anybody should stumble on this and knows about a workaround please drop a note. I hate thinking about a vmware-with-high-resolution workaround.
