Dexpot Forum

Hello! I realized that if desktop icons are set to be hidden in at least 2 desktops (works fine if it's only one desktop), wallpaper does not update when switching between these "iconless" desktops. Any workarounds perhaps?

I've tried the following with Dexpot 1.6.3 on both Windows 7 and Windows XP:

Open "Configure Desktops", select different wallpapers for Desktop 1 and Desktop 2, set icons to hidden for both desktops and apply changes. Switch back and forth a few times between D1 and D2.

Result: The wallpaper updates correctly on every switch and desktop icons remain hidden.

Any hints?

Thanks Patrick. I tried the solution you offered on 1.6.3 but that didn't work unfortunately. Perhaps the reason is that I am not using images as wallpapers but different background colors selected through Dexpot interface.

You're right, I can reproduce the problem with different background colors and no image files.

Will be fixed in the next version.
