Using Dexpot 1.5.16 on Win 7 HP 64 bit.
The back button on my Logitech mouse in Firefox changes to the previous desktop instead of sending me to the previous webpage. It works in Chrome. But not in FF using Dexpot.
Back button on Logitech mouse doesn't work in Firefox
Re: Back button on Logitech mouse doesn't work in Firefox

Dexpot uses the back/forward mouse buttons for desktop switching when they are clicked while the mouse pointer is over the taskbar or the desktop. They should work normally when the pointer is over a Firefox window.

Thanks for your reply, greatly appreciated.
Is there a way to turn this feature off? Because no matter where the cursor is and even when FF is the active window, my back button switches desktops and I do not want this function.

Re: Back button on Logitech mouse doesn't work in Firefox
Editing the registry for the value in this post didn't work. Still changes desktops in FF.
Re: Back button on Logitech mouse doesn't work in Firefox
Just checking: did you exit Dexpot before changing the registry?
Makes sense, actually. I was wondering how this feature could possibly grab the button press from a Firefox window. Then it's probably a Dexpot hotkey being triggered somehow. Go to "Settings > Controls > Hotkeys" and check if any of the "Switch desktop" (or Dexgrid/Dexcube plugin) hotkeys is defined as Alt+Left or so.

Patrick,
Actually, yes, I exited and rebooted the computer; but it doesn't matter, your second suggestion was correct and that there was a hot key set for Alt-Left and Alt-Right and I deleted those and all is good! Thanks again!
