We are experiencing an issue with a desktop rule that is supposed to copy a IE popup to all desktops. instead of copying the popup window to all dextops, it make some kind of ghost window on the TOP LT corner on all desktops.

If I manually copy the popup to all desktops it works fine... this only happens with the rules:

Did adding "window class is IEFrame" as a condition to the rule fix the problem?

Yes I added the second condition as recomended.

now it does not create the ghost window, but also does not copy to all..

but again if I force the rules to run or if I manually copy the popup then it does work as before.

I tried other Websites like this one.

Made a rule to copy the Dexpot-Forum to all desktops.
Window Class is IEFrame
and Window Title Contrains Dexpot-Forum

Action: copy to all desktops

then from the support home page, click on the forum Link.


and it does not copy to all desktops..
but after the page is loaded, if I do windows + F9 (run Rules) then it works...

I made sure the Apply rule Automatically is checked.

Please copy the attached dexpot.exe into your Dexpot installation folder and test if automatic application of the rule works better with this version.

So far working good...
