Dexcube problem

Postby br103 » 08.08.2010 19:41:51

Dear friends:
I installed Dexpot in my portable and all runs fine ...
I installed Dexpot on my laptop and everything runs perfectly ... except the Dexcube plugin. After activating the required checkbox in the configuration menu, nothing happens when I press the keys ctrl + alt + up arrow or ctrl + alt + right arrow. In seconds, a window appears to report about an error. From this moment, the Dexcube checkbox is cleared.

To try to solve the problem, I disabled "multithreading" in the options menu and I also reinstalled DirectX and VB runtime libraries, without success.

The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits.

Thank you very much for your help.

:dex:,

.es or .com. That is the question.
What error exactly?

Reproduce the error, right-click the Dexcube process in your task manager and hit 'Create Dump File'. Send the file to our email address.

Dear friends:

Definitively, everything was a problem due to an inappropriate driver for my graphics card.

I have a Vaio portable (VGN-SZ61MN/B). The graphic card is a NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS/Intel GMA X3100. I think that when I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits, the system found the Intel GMA X3100 graphics card and the proper driver was installed.

I tried to install a better driver from Nvidia but, by the moment, the actual driver does not support the Vaio computers. For this reason, I downloads another driver for my graphic card from the website Guru3d.com and ... everything works perfectly in the Dexpot software :ok: !

Thank you very much for your kindness. Yours sincerely, (wave)
