fences software and dexpot... now i have a problem

Hi,
Great program your dexpot is!!!! THANKS!!!! Have already told all my friends about you.
I set up 4 virtual desktops and everything is running smoothly for over a week.

Then I got greedy,

I wanted even more control... so I loaded a progam called fences thinking that within each virtual desktop I can fence my shortcuts (I have many many shortcuts on each virtual desktop!).

Well, it didn't work. Within each desktop, whenever I visited it, icons started flashing, disappearing and then returning and I understoond dexpot isn't going to work with fences and its time to remove fences. I was in desktop nr. 3 when I uninstalled fences and then rebooted.

Now, I find the following problems and was wondering if they can be fixed?
Desktops #1, #2 and #4 are fine, working fine, no damage was done there but with #3
1) when i use google to save a webpage as an application on desktop 3, it doesn't save it but pins it to the windows 7 toolbar and when i exit and return, its never on the desktop.
2) when i go to the desktop windows comand and then to icons and copy or move icons to desktop #3, most don't copy or move. Most don't show up on desktop 3, just a few show up.
Have I corrupted the program? Is there a dexpot backup that was saved automatically before loading fences, and if so where, how to access it? Do I need to start all over again...ugghh.

You made a great program and I want to encourage anyone reading this to download and use it.

there's a file named '*username*.dxi' in your user folder. Delete it, kill Fences and try again.

cannot find that folder Sebastian...

all i see is

Appcompat

and another folder

Apppatch

there is no AppData folder.

please advise.

windows 7 home edition is my operating system.

ok, found the C:\User\%Username%\AppData\Roaming\Dexpot

but...

no icons.dxi file or folder there.

only

profile folder and two other files...

JO.dxi
Standerd.dxi
