Hi love the program. Is there a way to make it so that you can work on all 4 desktops at once from the full-screen preview and have it not zoom into the desktop you clicked?

thanks

:dex:,

already noted for version 1.6.
Meanwhile, you may use Desktop Preview (which is not full-screen though).

the Desktop preview is a different component of Dexpot. It looks different, right.

I'm not saying that the Spaces-like overview will definitely be introduced with version 1.6, but rather that we've noted it.

Hi, :dex:

just to clarify, when you say "work on all 4 desktops at once", do you mean moving windows from one desktop to another, or do you actually want to interface with the windows, as in clicking buttons and typing text?

Not sure working on all of them at the same time is all that practical but being able to quickly move windows around via drag and drop might be of some use, well it would to me.

Be worth seeing how much of the userbase would get benefit from it, would be a great addition if you give it that dexpot touch .

Me neither. If anything, it's difficult to implement.

That's what is planned for version 1.6, as Sebastian mentioned above.

"Not sure working on all of them at the same time is all that practical"

Of course it's not practical. It's totally COOL! Practical and Cool rarely come together in the same package. ;-)

However, if you consider that I have a 28" Monitor that can view four desktops @ 1024x768 (almost), then the idea becomes a bit more practical.

I agree, though that implementing such a thing would be ridiculously complex to do. So, while I think it's a cool idea, I'm not really expecting to see it.
