I use dexpot and like it, I switch desktops constantly during the day, and have noticed that on occasion, maybe once every 20 or 30 desktop switches, windows are being set to HIDDEN status on their own. I have to go into the DExpot Windows management screen and reset them to show.

Has this been reported before?

Win 7 X64 platform.

I have a program (Quotetracker) that opens multiple windows. Probably 30 or 40.

As I switch desktop, one of these windows, and it seems to be a different one every time, will go to the HIDDEN state.

I only seem to have this problem with this application (Quotetracker).

at least the following lines in your wechsel.ini will hinder the windows from being copied (as far as I've tried, amongst others, this is again a major issue with Quotetracker).


Why they're hidden in your case? I don't know. Ask Quotetracker's developers.

If Dexpot is hiding all the Quotetracker windows , then unhiding them , would it be a problem in Dexpot or the app if one of the windows remain hidden?

Are you saying you are aware of issues with this particular program (Quotetracker)?

it's a problem of the app.
Insofar "aware" as I've tested it yesterday.

I tried the fix today, and it seemed to work.

to some extent. Some of its taskbar buttons randomly stay visible on other desktops.
