I have some problems when switching to another desktop. When I switch to another desktop the windows are white en when I go over the programwindows with my mouse parts of the window appear again. Also the windows is normal again when I first minimize the screen and then let it pop up again.

What am I doing wrong?

Might be yet another Vista thing. I've seen this too...

If I remember correctly, it looked a lot like this (screenshot).
Let me know if any of you finds a way to reproduce this problem.

Well this happened even when I typed this message (link). But especially my Desktop with Outlook 2007 has this problem.

A workaround is to minimize and maximize the window but that's not a real solution and very annoying. I can't reproduce it, it just happens randomly.

I work with Vista Business.

I can reproduce this on german Vista Business Sp1 with Dexpot 1.4.1 Build 542.
When I switch to another Desktop, only the Window in foreground is shown normal, Windows in the background behind the foreground-Window are not refreshed (only the hidden part is white).
But that is not realy a Problem to me, I know, that I have to minimize Windows I dont need at then moment before switching to another Desktop.

Great program, I've been searching for something like this for years.

I also have this refresh problem when I'm switching desktops. When I minimize and maximize the windows affected they return to normal.

I'm running on MS Windows Vista Business SP1 here.

I love this program and I hope this bug will get fixed soon

Just installed your Virtual desktop and is really good.

On the down side, I also have this refresh problem.

My current comp specs:

Yesterday I have formated my comp so it's totally "fresh"

Vista Ultimate SP1
ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series (onboard) with latest HP released drivers (Catalyst® Control Center Version 2008.0917.337.4556)

The problem was also with my previous setup (Vista Ultimate, ATI drivers from July 2007) and I though with reinstall the problem would be fixed. Maybe I try to install latest drivers from ATI, 'couse I think its driver related.

I dont think that the refresh-problem ist driver related, I have the same problem with an Intel on-board graphic card (Intel Q35) with latest Intel drivers. (German Vista Business Sp1).

You're right. I guess it's not driver related...

I have the latest build installed on Vista.
This will happen all the time IF using a hotkey to switch desktops.
It does not happen when switching desktops using the 'desktop manager'

BTW Great work! This is definitely the best virtual desktop app for windows, I was using it happily for a long time in XP. But in Vista I've been running into the above problem. Current workaround is to use desktop manager to switch desktops.

Here the exact opposite, only occurs when switching from "full screen preview". Shortcut keys and "Desktop preview" are fine!
