Using the default 4*1 desktops, I have assigned hotkey (tried various combinations) but whichever I use there is always one hotkey combo that doesn't work.

So I installed Dexpot on my laptop, and exactly the same thing, albeit a different desktop that doesn't hotkey switch.

Both XP Pro systems - one a Dell desktop the other an IBM X31 laptop.

Weird.

that sounds strange. A hotkey combo like ALT+1 for desktop 1, ALT+2 for desktop 2... doesn't work?
What about WINKEY+1 ...?
