Is it possible to change / add modifier keys?

I have a ThinkPad laptop, which comes with a nigh-useless blue Fn button in the lower-left corner (yet no Windows key ) - it would be fantastic if said blue button could be used as a Dexpot modifier key, it'd allow many easy to use & remember unique shortcuts. At the moment it's just set to switch back to the last-used desktop, but I'm sure it could be utilised much more effectively.

Is it possible to either change the saved shortcut keys for a given function by editing a settings file or similar to allow me to enter the non-selectable character code (unlikely, but you never know), or if not, could you consider the ability to specify custom modifier keys a feature request? :)

Regarding feature requests, if each desktop could have it's own virtual clipboard, that'd be amazing too. :)

Hi,

Of course you can set your own hotkeys :)

Go to Dexpot settings > Controls and define for nearly everything your desired hotkeys. Found it?

Old thread, I know, but I found a very dodgy solution to this problem and it might help someone.

Step 1: Save your profile in settings, suppose you name it "Profile 1".
Step 2: Go to C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\Roaming\Dexpot\profile
Step 3: Open the file with the name of your saved profile in wordpad (Profile1.dxp in out case).
Step 4: Scroll down to the part where it says hotkeys, it's in German, get over it.
Step 5: Redefine any hotkey you want using keycodes found here.
Step 5.5: If the above link doesn't have the keycode you need, use google and find it yourself.
Step 6: Load your profile in settings. All done.

I wanted to use the Windows Key as a hotkey, not as a modifier and that's the only way I could make it work without using third-party software to remap keys.
