DexControl full-screen preview odd behaviour

Postby sailor.nir » 05.04.2020 18:24:28

I start full-screen preview either via dbl-clicking notification area, hotkey, or the SevenDex context menu. I get somethings similar to https://dexpot.de/?id=dexcontrol, but different. No black areas between the desktops, no color backgroud, and no functionality like drag'n'drop, zoom, tile, etc. Also, the taskbar and desktop icons are shown for each desktop, unlike in the online description. Am I getting to a different feature? Different version of DexControl? Weird...

Can anyone tell me How to get the functionality described in the above link?

Thank you very much,
Nir

Aha, that was it - I had Aero turned off, thank you :)

Can we get a finer granularity on what part of Aero is required? I had dwm not working, transparency off, and a theme which doesn't support Aero. Do I need all of the above?

Tnx again,
Nir

DWM needs to be running.
