exe launches installer

when i open dexpot it opens windows installer and wants to launch an MSI file that is for another program i have on my PC... is there a way to fix that? I've tried uninstalling/re-installing with and without restarts. tried running the other programs in the dexpot directory; they all launch the windows installer. any help would be appreciated.
