Powerpoint freezing when in Full-screen

I'm trying to run 4 virtual monitors displaying one slideshow on each monitor. When I have just one monitor selected, my slideshow runs perfectly but when I choose "Full-screen preview" (when it shows the 4 monitor grid), it stops running. I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise x64. Is there a way to go to Full-screen mode and still have my slideshows running? I've checked the settings but I couldn't find anything.
